It may seem silly to do a video about a smoothie, however… I couldn’t possibly make a full series dedicated to easy vegan meals and NOT include a smoothie! If you’re looking for an easy way to include more whole foods and raw plants into your diet… look no further. Happy blending, plant people!

The fastest, easiest, healthiest and LOVELIEST breakfast is just a quick blend away! Once you get in the smoothie habit, you'll never look back...

Prep Time5 minsCook Time5 minsTotal Time10 mins

Equipment
High-Powered Blender - ideally one with a tamper (like a Vitamix or Blendtec)
Plants
Frozen Fruit - whatever you can get your hands on! Buy in bulk or freeze fruit before it goes bad to save food waste.
Frozen Greens - kale, spinach, chard... don't let greens go bad, give them a good wash and freeze them!
Fresh Fruit - use what you have in your fruit bowl.. bananas, kiwis, oranges etc. There's no wrong or right here.
Plant Milk (see Notes section below) - store bough or homemade will do (you could also sub or add in fresh juice or coconut water)
Frozen or Fresh Veggies - zucchini, celery, cauliflower, and carrot are great options!
Optional Additions - flax, chia seed, and hemp add a great nutritional boost (Omega-3s!)

1

Add all of your ingredients to your high powered blender and blend away!

2

Use what you have available to you and always remember to play with your food... there's no wrong or right when it comes to a smoothie.

3

Always try and incorporate veggies when possible - it's a great way to sneak in a little nutritional boost and to help cut down on sugars.
