This is the part in the story where the juice meets the smoothie, and life is never the same…

Fortunately, you’ll get the best of both worlds with this drink. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. Thick, but not too thick. Cold, but not too cold… it’s the goldilocks of green drinks.

The recipe will yield ~ 2 8oz. glasses, which for me is just right for one. If you’re planning on sharing, I would double the recipe. Cheers, plant people!

For the Juicer
 ½ celery bunch, rinsed
 ½ parsley bunch, rinsed
 1 granny smith apple, cored
For the Blender
 ¾ cup kale, frozen
 ¾ cup spinach, frozen
 ½ cup pineapple chunks, frozen

Make your Juice

Add all of your juicing ingredients to your juicer, and then transfer your juice to your high-powered blender.

Blend

Add your remaining ingredients (frozen greens and pineapple) and blend on high until smooth. Don't over blend, because you'll heat up your drink and melt the nice icy texture from your frozen veg.
